Q: What is Roswell Movie?

A: Roswell Movie is a campaign designed to convince 20th Century FOX to produce a Roswell feature film. A team was assembled to decide the best strategy in accomplishing this task, and we have asked for your assistance and aid. To learn more, please read the message here.

Q: Is talk of a movie serious enough to get involved?

A: Most definitely. Jonathan Frakes is very keen to get things rolling, but he has asked the fans to campaign and arouse public interest, and that is what we have started to do. Many reports from several different sources as well, have announced that this is a very real possibility. But as we’ve said, there is no way this is going to happen without everyone's support.

Q: Is there enough fan interest in campaigning again, and do enough people even know that a movie is a possibility?

A: Our job is to let people know that this is a possibility. And the purpose of gaining interest of the first season writers is to restore fan's passions so they will campaign and fight for what they fell in love with--which was for most, season one.

Q: When will the movie be made?

A: That answer depends on the fan's zeal and the studio's cooperation. If targeted properly, production could begin in the very near future.

Q: Are the Roswell cast, crew, writers, producers, etc. involved?

A: Part of our goal is to bring together again the first season writers, in which many fans admired the most. Both Jonathan Frakes and Jason Katims, who act as both writers, directors, and producers have shown intense interest in making this a reality. Although John Doe and a few of the other cast talents have stated they would gladly shoot a film, there is uncertainty to whether or not the entire originality will reprise their roles. However, we would surely not wish to alter what the show created for us, and therefore we would not be campaigning for a film if we did not believe the cast would return. This matter is more fully addressed in the "Actors" section.

Q: IF there is a movie, will it continue from the Roswell television series or novels?

A: We would think the television series.

Q: Will Roswell Movie be writing the script?

A: No. Like aforementioned, we are striving to regain the talents of the first season writers. RoswellMovie.net’s purpose is to gain public interest.

Q: What is the message board/forum for?

A: The forum was created for fans like yourself to converse with other fanatics of Roswell. The main purpose of this Forum is for fans to share and expand on ideas as well as to provide a place to update on all things going on at RM.net. Another confidential board has also been designed for the staff at Roswell Movie to take into consideration your strategies, as well as make up their own.
