Jason Katims has often described Roswell as “my baby”.  He has said that his involvement in this show, with the fans and the charity causes that resulted, have been an experience he will never forget and will probably never experience again with any other project.  Undoubtedly, without his commitment to the show, it may have ended after Season 1 – definitely after Season 2. 

During the filming of ‘Graduation’, he encouraged the fans to continue campaign efforts for Season 4, even though he felt the show would be cancelled.  He stated that the WB and UPN networks had been impressed by the passion the fans showed for their series.  “I think that, if there is any chance for the show, it’s really up to the fans’ support,” he told Crashdown.com staff.

Jason has stated that he has been approached by “someone in the business” with questions about who owns the filming/production rights for Roswell.  Let’s hope that it was someone with the vision and ability to resurrect Mr. Katim’s “baby”!
