The possibility of Katherine reprising her Roswell character is not known.  We have no statements from her about that specific issue.  It is known that she was ready to move on to more adult roles by the time Roswell ended.  She recently restated this during an interview with TV Guide prior to the airing of her movie “Evil Never Dies” on June 1, 2003. 

“As for horror and sci-fi, I thought I’d like to veer toward romantic comedies, but when a great story comes along, it’s hard to pass up the opportunity,” she told the interviewer.  It is hoped that any script written for a Roswell movie would be one of those “great stories”! 

Katherine continued to talk in a positive manner concerning her involvement with Roswell. 

“I did find Roswell fascinating, and through that, I started to get into the genre (scifi). It’s a whole other world that writers and fans have to believe is possible, and I love mythology, so sci-fi became interesting to me at a time when I didn’t think it would be.  One of the most interesting things about that show for me,” she reflects, “was that because Isabel was an alien, I got to do many things, so that was creatively satisfying. I think anyone’s fear of getting involved in a show that could run for several years is that you’ll be playing only one character for that long; that can get stale for an actor, so on Roswell, I really lucked out.” 

Considering Katherine’s statements, it appears that she does see her involvement with Roswell as an interesting time in her career.  These are some very positive statements from one who has been quiet on the subject for a long while!  Since any movie would deal with our Roswell natives after they had grown up, it is hoped that Katherine would consider a Roswell movie as another opportunity to demonstrate her talents on the big screen while achieving her goal of portraying more adult characters and situations.
