Jonathan Frakes has been very open about Roswell being very special to him.  Just prior to UPN’s cancellation of the show, he lamented that he had not been as involved in Roswell’s production as he should have been, and vowed to be more “hands on” if the show got renewed.  He courted the SciFi Channel as a possible network for new episodes.  He was the first to mention the possibility of a Roswell movie!  It is very well know that he would love nothing more than to see Roswell on the big screen!
