Like her friends Brendan,
Shiri, and Nick, Majandra continues to be supportive of Roswell charity
functions by attending when possible. She is friendly and open with fans and is
appreciative of their support for her music.
Although she’s been very
vocal about not wanting to get involved in another television series and her
intention to pursue her love of music, she also admits that she has a talent for
acting. She has referred to acting as her “bread and butter”.
Initially praising Roswell
and it’s concept, she went public with her desire to “get out” during Season 3.
As her lines and screen time diminished, so, it seems, did her interest in
continuing the story. From various remarks she has made, including praise for
David Nutter (who left after Season 1 when the network began demanding changes
be made in the show), and the statement that Jason Katims did the best he could
because, “he was dealing with some very scary network execs”, one might deduce
that she became very disenchanted with back-stage politics.
As
Maj has remained so positive toward her Roswell fans, maintains
a close friendship with Roswell-positive Shiri, and speaks so
highly of the production team that the Movie Campaign is hoping
to get involved in the project, it is hoped that she would consider
a movie to be a great opportunity to work with friends and the
character she made come alive on our TV screens – Maria!
UPDATE
12/03
Majandra
is asked about a possible Roswell Movie.
"6 . IF Roswell came back for a season 4 or a movie,
would you come back as Maria?
Majandra - Hell yeah! I dont know about another season
though! Phew! Hopefully people had a nice break and they would
be a little more fun at the work place. I just did an episode
of Boston Public and I realized that not all TV show set's have
to feel like a funeral. It gives me hope for the future!"
